The Hanging Islands of Rosatia

Enormous convoluted trunks of Redwood-thick trees dangle from indefinite origins in the sky while their roots hold together chunks of solid earth, each as wide as an island, that barely touch the ocean surface below. The sky above is in a constant flock of clouds, never a day of clear blue heavens, as if it was keeping a secret.

Islands are connected to each other with strong bridges made of ropes of steel and planks of hardwood. The best way to get to these numerous clusters of dangling islands is by air, on a dragon. However, there is what they call the Port Island, the only island in the cluster that lies at sea level, which is especially positioned for those who couldn't afford altitude.
